International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Students
The IBCM International Foundation Year (L3IFDHES) is a qualification aimed to prepare students for their first year entry on to undergraduate degree courses. The programme is designed for international students who want to apply for an under-graduate degree course and provides specialisations in Business, Computing or Engineering.
The NCC Education qualification is recognised by over 50 universities worldwide and is intended to provide candidates with an entry route to UK university courses or progression on to the NCC Education Level 4 Diplomas in Computing, Business and Business IT. Students who successfully complete the course are guaranteed* entry onto a selection of University courses at Birmingham City University (UK), University Centre Croydon (UK), and much more.
*Provided that all other entry requirements have been met.
To complete the qualification a student must study and pass eight units.
The qualifcation consists of six core units:
Developing English Language Skills
Advanced English Language Skills
English for Academic Purposes
Study and Communication Skills
A further two units must be taken from a choice of six electives:
Introduction to Computer Science
Introduction to Programming
Introduction to Business
Introduction to Accounting
